2020 Louisiana Corn Festival
The Bunkie Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the 34th Annual Louisiana Corn Festival on June 11 th , 12 th, and 13 th 2020. The Louisiana Corn Festival is held every year the second full weekend in June. The festival and slogan “Aw Shucks” originated in 1986 and still is the only corn festival in the state of Louisiana. The name Louisiana Corn Festival was given to honor the impact that agriculture has on our economy. Every year we promote and recognize our farmers as well as award a Corn Farmer of the Year. In addition to the thousands of visitors who travel to the small town of Bunkie each year spending their money at gas stations, restaurants, shops, and grocery stores; our very own farmers, community leaders, business owners, and citizens who partner with the Louisiana Corn Festival help generate a positive economic impact to the surrounding areas. Your partnership and investment will not only give you a distinctive opportunity to market your business to those many visitors each year but you become an essential part of providing funding for projects with civic organizations, schools, and improvement throughout our community. The Bunkie Chamber of Commerce continues to work promoting member businesses, festival partners, and consistently striving to enhance quality of life while creating economic growth for The City of Bunkie as well as Tourism in Louisiana. With your partnership we can continue to invest in our youth’s future, business growth, agriculture, and community success. Please review the attached proposal with the different level of partnership opportunities. If you have any specific needs, please let us know!! Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you the second weekend in June! … “AW SHUCKS!”
